AVANTI LAW GROUP CELEBRATES NEW LOCATION
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., January 24, 2011 -- The young, passionate and bilingual members of Avanti Law Group are hosting an open house at their newest location on 28th Street this Wednesday. The group, who has outgrown their previous Wyoming location because of booming success, will celebrate with a light lunch reception, office tours and a formal ribbon cutting. “It’s been a growing business and we owe our success to our clients. There’s no attorney without a client,” said Raquel Salas, co-founder and managing member. Although Avanti is expanding their office space, their services will still be cost efficient and easily accessible to the public. Their latest location off of US 131 offers multiple amenities that shows how much the group cares about their clients, including free parking. “Many people find it intimidating to meet with an attorney for the first time, so we want to make our clients comfortable,” Salas said. Salas and three other attorneys, Robert Alvarez, James Betzold and Meghan Moore, formed Avanti Law Group in May. Since then, their firm has grown to 10 lawyers and five staff. The young, diverse and heavily experienced firm provides a variety of services, which include business transactions, family law, labor, immigration and other legal issues. “Thanks to our formal of counsel relationship with Detroit based Sommers Schwartz, PC, we are expanding our services into a nationwide class action practice and we are currently involved in various multi million dollar class actions cases across the country,” Salas said. Support from local chambers of commerce including the Wyoming Kent Chamber of Commerce, the Grand Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce, Mi Raza Association of Commerce and the West Michigan Hispanic Chamber of Commerce will be attending the open house. The celebration will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with the ribbon cutting at noon. Avanti Law Group’s latest office is located at 600 28th Street SW. The group has another office in Holland at 660 Lincoln Ave.
